This species is probably the most popular and hardiest member of the Abelia family. It is evergreen to semi-evergreen and may be used as a pruned or unpruned hedge. It will bear profuse, fragrant, bell-shaped white flowers, tinged with pink from mid-spring to mid-autumn.
