Description

This is a graceful clump-forming short-lived perennial. They are grown for their bell-shaped single-double flowers which will bloom in late spring and early summer. They are suitable for rock gardens. Fully to frost hardy. Prefers well drained soil in an open, sunny site. Propagate species by seed in autumn or spring. Selected forms only occasionally come true from seed as they cross freely; they should be widely segregated. They are prone to aphid attack.
