Description

This genus is large and consists of about 250 species of deciduous, evergreen or semi-evergreen annuals, perennials, sub-shrubs. The leaves will appear in opposite pairs in whorls, and the flowers have 2 lobes on the upper lip and 3 on the lower. They will prefer sun and fertile, well drained soil. You can propagate by seeds in the autumn or spring.
