Description

Potentilla is a genus of about 500 species of annual, biennial and perennial herbs in the rose family Rosaceae, native to most of the Northern Hemisphere.

Potentillas are excellent deciduous shrubs for the small or large garden. Almost totally free from disease and pest, they are compact plants requiring only minimal pruning to keep them to the shape and size you want.

The flowers come in shades of yellow, cream, white, orange and even red. The leaves are a mass of tiny green fingers which are attractive in their own right.

A dense, bushy, deciduous shrub with abundant, large, disc-shaped, rich yellow flowers appearing in late spring to autumn. Has dark green leaves divided into five leaflets.
