I have been growing orchids for more than twentyfive years.  My obsession begain innocently with the purchase of a Cattleya to have as a model wanting to included it in a painting.   Once the flower bloomed I was hooked.  The diversity of orchids is astounding.  Presently I am growing mostly Phalaenopsis orchids with the focus on Phalaenopsis equestris from the south pacific.  I have 9 varieties and am looking to increase my collection.  I am always looking for information and am delighted to have found this site.
